Biography
Violence is the third album by Washington, D.C. band Nothingface, released on September 5, 2000 via TVT Records. Produced by Drew Mazurek, it was the final album to feature founding drummer Chris Houck, who left shortly after recording due to health concerns. The band has described the album as "the soundtrack for the end of the world". Despite receiving positive reviews, and the single "Bleeder" reaching No. 32 on U.S. Mainstream Rock, the album was not commercially successful, only selling 87,000 copies in the US.
