COWBOY CARTER is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Beyoncé, released on March 29, 2024, via Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records. The album was announced on February 11, 2024, in which was teased through a Verizon commercial aired during the Super Bowl LVIII. It was preceded by two singles that same night, "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" which hit #1 on Billboard Hot 100, and “16 CARRIAGES". It serves as the second instalment of Beyoncé's three-act project recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic, following Grammy nominated-awarded Act I: RENAISSANCE.
